Alicia, a vibrant and exuberant kid has two dreams: to have a friend and spend all of her savings in La Tiendita - the community's hotspot and magical fully stocked corner store owned by Tia Rosa. La Tiendita tracks the relationships of Mama, Tia Rosa, Ana, Cynthia, Lori, and Alicia as they deal with the looming news of a missing girl in the community and a new mysterious neighbour. Their lives unfold as they each face personal hardships until being forced to find hope in face of the darkness that has slipped in.
